1000’s of children across the UK are struggling with maths in school. This is because they do not have the tools they need to succeed.

Children can’t progress if their foundation is weak or missing. They need strong understanding of basic skills to be able to answer harder calculation questions and worded questions. Without these skills children are being asked to run before they can walk.

Hard working teachers are doing their best to help children. However, they are under more and more pressure because of large class sizes of mixed ability children. When children have strong skills in Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Divisions teachers are able to help them succeed faster.

Many children have a maths tutor, but are not making progress. Some tutors are very good and understand that a strong foundation is the key to success. But there are lots of tutors that just work from bookshop books without making sure that basic skills have been mastered first. Also, there are a lot of tutors that lack the experience to clearly teach these core skills.

Over the last 22 years we have helped 1000’s of children become confident with Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. We have done this privately and through schools. Our goal is to boost confidence through understanding. When children are given the tools they need to do well in maths worry turns to excitement. Our goal is to help children succeed.
